It has often been said that you should send a thank you note to every person you speak with about your job search. Every contact serves as another touch point that helps people remember you. A thank you via email may be adequate, but its easily forgotten. A handwritten note is more personal, and a beautiful card has the additional benefit that it tends to stick around on the recipients desk or bookcase for a while. I recommend that every job seeker invest in a supply of note cards, either blank or with a thank you message printed.
